Mission Statement
It is the mission, duty and purpose of Higher Education Literacy Professionals (HELP), Inc. to increase access to higher education for underrepresented groups through workshops, classes, tutoring, and private coaching.
History
H.E.L.P. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, founded in 2015, born out of a passion for education from three close friends: Tristan Fields, Jermaine Miller, and Jeffery Kennerly. Alarmed at the stagnant numbers of minority college applicants, the founders agreed that it was time for a new organization. An organization that focused not only on the needs of low-income and first-generation college applicants, but also on the needs of students from working and middle class families.
